🧾 Sales Tax

GalaxyGrails.io does not collect sales tax on any transaction. Every card is Secured by PSA Vault in Delaware, which has no state sales tax. Because cards remain in Delaware at all times — both during storage and during vault-to-vault transfers — there is no taxable delivery event.

Why no sales tax​

  • Pack purchase: no sales tax — title and possession remain with PSA in Delaware.
  • Vault transfer: no sales tax — the card moves between PSA Vault accounts within the same Delaware facility. No physical delivery occurs.
  • Buyback: no sales tax on the proceeds you receive from selling a card back to GalaxyGrails.io.

Your responsibility​

You are solely responsible for determining, calculating, and paying all applicable sales, use, income, or other tax obligations arising from your purchase, ownership, or use of items through the Platform, including any obligations imposed by your state, local, or other applicable jurisdiction. GalaxyGrails.io does not collect, calculate, remit, or advise on taxes of any kind, and nothing in our documentation should be construed as a representation regarding your individual tax obligations.

IRS reporting (Form 1099-K)​

Where required by law, GalaxyGrails.io may report payments made to you (including Buyback proceeds and withdrawals) to applicable tax authorities, including the IRS (e.g., via Form 1099-K). You agree to provide accurate tax identification information (including your taxpayer identification number) upon request. Failure to provide required information may result in withholding from your payouts in accordance with applicable law.
