⭐ Points

Points are a free loyalty perk on GalaxyGrails.io. Every pack you open earns points proportional to the cash you spend, and your monthly total lands you on a public leaderboard. Points are not a currency — they're our way of rewarding you for ripping packs.

⚡ TL;DR​

  • Earn points automatically every time you open a pack with cash from your account balance.
  • Daily claim drips a small amount of points for users who didn't open a pack that day.
  • Redeem points as a credit on a future pack once your balance clears a minimum threshold. The current redemption rate and threshold are shown in your wallet.
  • If your balance is high enough, you can cover an entire pack with points — but a pack paid 100% with points does not earn any additional points back.
  • Monthly leaderboard ranks every user by points earned in the current calendar month and resets at the start of the next month.
  • Points do not expire, have no cash value, are not withdrawable, and cannot be transferred between accounts.

🎯 How It Works​

Earning​

You earn points automatically when you open a pack using cash from your Account Funds. Points are credited the moment the pull is finalized.

  • The amount of points earned scales with the cash portion of the pack price.
  • Higher-priced packs earn a slightly higher rate per dollar (a small step bonus per price tier).
  • Packs purchased entirely with redeemed points or promotional credit do not earn additional points — no farming loops.
  • GalaxyGrails.io may run occasional promotional multipliers or one-off point grants. Your wallet always reflects the points you actually earned.

Daily Claim​

Even on days you don't open a pack, you can keep your streak going with the daily claim — a small drip of points available once per UTC day. The claim button lives in your wallet; if you've already claimed today, it shows the time until the next reset (01:00 UTC).

Redeeming​

Once your balance crosses the minimum redemption threshold, points can be applied as a credit against a future pack purchase.

  • Minimum balance, not a minimum spend. The threshold is a floor on your balance, not on the size of a redemption. Once your balance clears it, you can apply any amount of points to a pack — including a small one. Your remaining balance can then fall back below the threshold, at which point you'll need to build it back up before redeeming again.
  • Rate: the current points-per-dollar rate is always shown in your wallet. It may be tuned over time.
  • Coverage: if your balance is high enough, your points can cover up to the entire cost of a pack.
  • No farming loop: a pack purchased entirely with redeemed points does not earn any additional points back. To keep earning, leave at least a small cash portion of the pack price.
  • Final once submitted: redemptions cannot be reversed after the pack purchase clears.
  • Redeeming doesn't cost you rank. Spending points reduces your spendable balance but not your lifetime or monthly earned totals, so your leaderboard standing is unaffected.

🏆 Monthly Leaderboard​

Every month, GalaxyGrails.io publishes a public monthly leaderboard ranking users by points earned during that calendar month.

  • Your username and current monthly point total are visible to other users.
  • Ranks reset to zero at the start of each calendar month.
  • Lifetime points carry over for redemption purposes, but only the current month's points count toward the leaderboard.

Opting out. Turn on private profile in your account settings and you'll be removed from the leaderboard entirely — including from your own "your rank" panel. See Account & Security for everything that setting covers. If you'd rather we handle it, contact [email protected].

📝 Things to Know​

  • No expiry. Points don't expire while your account is in good standing. There's no "use them or lose them" window.
  • No cash value. Points are a promotional loyalty perk. They cannot be redeemed for cash, converted to your wallet balance, or withdrawn via Stripe.
  • Non-transferable. Points stay with the account that earned them. They can't be gifted, traded, or moved between accounts.
  • Adjustments. Points awarded in connection with a purchase that is later refunded, reversed, or disputed may be clawed back. Points are also forfeited if your account is suspended or terminated for a policy violation.
  • Subject to change. Earning formulas, redemption rates, and minimum thresholds may be tuned over time. We'll always show the current values on the Platform; bigger structural changes get advance notice.
