Every card you pull on GalaxyGrails.io is Secured by PSA Vault under GalaxyGrails.io's custodial account until you transfer it to your own PSA Vault account or sell it back through the Buyback Program while its buyback offer is open.

How storage works​

  • Cards live in a climate-controlled vault facility operated by PSA, covered by PSA's vault insurance subject to PSA's terms (see Vault insurance below).
  • While in the vault, cards are held under GalaxyGrails.io's custodial account — you are the beneficial owner of the cards allocated to you, and you can request a vault transfer at any time (subject to identity verification).
  • Real, professionally graded cards — no digital placeholders or replicas. Each card is certified by PSA.

Buyback offers and transfers​

  • A buyback offer is open for a limited time after the pull. The offer's end date is shown in the app. After it ends, the card simply stays in your account: you can keep it for as long as you like and transfer it to your PSA Vault account at any time. See Buyback.
  • Cards in a transfer leave your inventory. Once you request a PSA Vault transfer, those cards are removed from your inventory right away and can't be sold back while the transfer is underway.
  • Returned cards keep their original offer end date. If a transfer is canceled or rejected, or a card is returned to your inventory, the card comes back with the same buyback offer end date it had before. Starting and canceling a transfer does not restart or extend an offer.
  • A returned card with no offer gets one at the market price. If a card comes back without any buyback offer, it gets a new one, and that offer follows the current market rather than being locked to a pull price.

Vault insurance​

Cards stored in the vault are insured by PSA against loss, damage, or destruction while in vault custody, subject to PSA's published Vault Terms.

PSA's terms govern coverage limits, claims procedures, claims deadlines, and exclusions. GalaxyGrails.io will cooperate reasonably to assist you in filing a claim, but your ultimate recourse is governed by PSA's vault terms and insurance policies.
